Therapeutic Behavioral Coaches provide focused family support services, including management techniques, to the children we serve and their families and must work effectively and respectfully with family members, professionals, and community resources.  Duties include complete behavioral observations, assessments and the implementation of a consistent treatment plan while establishing and maintaining positive relationships with the assigned youth and his/her family.  A TBS Behavioral Coach will maintain direct supervision of assigned youths and complete all required agency paperwork in a timely manner. 

minimum requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences required
  • At least 5 years experience working with emotionally disturbed youth in a community-based environment
  • Crisis management skills are key, along with the ability to assess and manage behavior
  • Therapeutic Behavioral Coaches should be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed, including evenings and weekends
  • Candidates must have a valid California Driver's License and should be able to work independently at home or in community settings
