This position will teach the basic techniques and skills associated with team and individual sports, dance, gymnastics, track, & field, aquatics and recreational activities such as canoeing and bushwalking.  The PE Coordinator will prepare a yearly program of learning experiences that link physical activities with issues related to health and well being.  Other duties include coordinating compulsory health education programs with credentialed classroom teachers, which prepares the students for life and coordinating special events, such as inter-school sports programs, swimming and athletic carnivals and lifesaving programs. 

minimum qualifications

• 2 years of experience working with special needs students. 
• Knowledge of the sate of CA Physical Education standards and the Physical Fitness is required.
