The Jr. SQL Developer will work from requirements, project plans, develop and build technical solutions through designing, developing, documenting, unit testing, and maintaining all tiers of a java web applications reporting solutions. The Primary focus of this position will be SQL programming, report writing, and technical support. Other duties include assisting the Sr. Web Developer in recommending new procedures or changes to existing procedures: Assisting with application database helpdesk support as needed; Training and supporting end users in using applications and database software; and monitoring customer and end-user feedback and incorporate into upgrade and improvement plans for all software applications.  

Minimum Requirements

• A B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in a related technical field.
• At least 1-3 years of strong SQL programming experience and report writing skills.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL, stored procedures, query and report development
• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices for development of java web applications (Tomcat, JSP, JDBC, CSS, XML, Servlets, JavaScript, AJAX) and Spring.
