This position provides group, family and individual treatment, depending on the needs of the clients served by the Edgewood's Community and School Based Services. Other duties include providing case management oversight of assigned cases including advocacy, collaboration, monitoring or progress and ongoing needs, referrals and discharge planning with other service providers; conducting 3632 mental health assessments for referred children; providing consultation to classroom teachers regarding classroom mental health issues; and participating in IEP and/or SST for assigned children or other education-mental health team meetings.
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field
- Clinical license or license eligibility
- At least 2 years experience providing mental health services in an educational setting, either as a direct service provider or consultant
