UCSF Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency

The University of California San Francisco's acclaimed Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiaty partners with Edgewood to provide a resident training program that is designed to help the child and adolescent psychiatry residents develop core skills essential to the current and future practice of the profession. It offers diverse and challenging clinical, didactic, and supervisory experiences. UCSF and Edgewood also partner to provide a clinical rotation for medical students interested in a career in psychiatry.


Applicants to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program must have completed, or be in their third year of an accredited General Psychiatry Program. Applicants who come in to this program need to provide documentation that they have completed, or will be able to complete, all requirements in training in General Psychiatry.
