Who It Helps
Neighborhood Outreach: Bridging families with children 0-5 years of age to relevant resources and referrals in San Francisco through outreach to families during their daily routine in places such as the laundromat, grocery store, playground and community events. Providers, parents, caregivers and community members are welcome to call us for referrals.
Ambassador Workshops: Building opportunities for empowerment and leadership skill building through workshops on communication, advocacy and accessing information and resources in San Francisco as well as building awareness and knowledge about children’s health and development issues. Upon completion of four workshops, graduates receive a certificate from First Five San Francisco and are encouraged to continue their learning as an Ambassador Liaison.
