Children's Agencies Present "Art of Transformation" Event April 26
January 1, 2008

SAUSALITO, CA – More than 200 children will participate in The Art of Transformation, the second annual art exhibition which honors the extraordinary creations of children who receive treatment from Edgewood Center for Children and Families, Lincoln Child Center, Sand Paths Academy, Seneca Center, and Sunny Hills Services. The collective agencies are non-profit organizations that provide mental health services to the Bay Area's at-risk children and families. Last year's exhibition was a wonderful success, bringing together supporters of all the agencies to celebrate children and the arts.
"The Exhibition's premise is that the process of making art can provide a beacon of hope, and transform the lives of children, as well as the world we live in," according to event organizers. "This exhibit provides an opportunity for the public to learn more about therapeutic art, the children who benefit from it, and the positive impact it has on their lives."
The exhibit will open for viewing on April 14, 2008 and end with a celebration and silent auction featuring the children's artwork on Saturday, April 26. Guests will enjoy a panel discussion, entertainment, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages.
